Do not worry, no harm will come to you or your body.

In fact, you may be even doing your health a lot of good.

That’s not all.

 

There are many health benefits to laughing.

You can actually give up those stress relieving medications or health boosters.

Laughing a few times a day actually will take their place.

 

In What Ways Does Laughing Benefit You?

Laughter activates the release of substances called endorphins into your blood stream.

This substance, as it traverses your veins and goes through your body and your brain…

is what causes that relaxing, happy, overflowing feeling when you laugh, and makes you want to laugh more.

 

 

Laughing doesn’t just make you happy; it’s good for your mental health as well.

It lowers blood pressure. First, blood pressure rises when you start to laugh, then it goes down below the normal level.

When you laugh, your tendency is also to take in a lot of air, and with it, oxygen, which gets into your blood and feed your body.

Oxygen is good because it stimulates the circulation of blood and the processes of your body.

 

Laughter also increases heart and pulse rate, and reduces stress.

Laughter Leader Workshops

I just completed 2 Laughter Yoga workshops end of April and beginning of May.

They were just amazing with everyone having fun and enjoying themselves.

Students said that our laughter session in Murvagh Woods and the walk on the beach was the high light of the week end.

Im already looking forward to our next fun week end on the 9th and 10th of July 2016.

What Does True Happiness Really Mean?

The Start Point – There are many scientific and natural therapy ways to achieve some level of happiness.

With practice and conscious perseverance it is possible to achieve almost complete true happiness.

 

 

Here are some insights as to how to make this possibility a reality.

and this can cause grave damage is left unchecked for too long.

Therefore it may be prudent to exercise indulgence to a certain degree in a particular feeling…

if the outcome is found to be non destructive and instead producing wonderfully positive results.

Exercising regularly and ideally at the beginning of the day allows the body to recharge and revitalize after a good night’s rest.

 

Eating a hearty and healthy meal at the beginning of the day is always advisable.

Most medical professional insist that this ritual be practiced without deviation as the first…

meal is very important in providing the energy for the rest of the day.

 

Other daily rituals may include having a set routine that is comfortable and less like to cause stress.

Planning the day to ensure a smooth flow of activities is always better than running around aimlessly…

trying to get as many things done as possible.

 

“This is a good way to stay motivated as each thing scheduled for the day gets done quickly and effectively.

 

Find Out Your Passions And Them Do That

and body that extra boost needed to get the task done well and with a feeling of complete satisfaction.

Discovering the single most important thing at the moment in an individual’s life and then working on it…

to bring it to fruitfulness will require a certain amount of passion to make it a success.

But in doing so there is a certain amount of new vitality both in mind and in spirit…

that bring out the energy and zest required to see the endeavor through.

 

“Keeping as focused as possible is another way to find out what drives an individual.

When there are fewer distractions around in the individual’s life…

the ability to search with a focused mind what the individual is passionate about can be very beneficial.

This focused finding will also increase the chances of the individual embarking on…

the findings quickly and efficiently because of the level of passion involved.

 

If the task or endeavor proves to be a difficult one to undertake then the level of passion for the said activity…

will be what carries the individual to work on it until successful completion is achieved.

therefore this element is a very important ingredient in the make up of success.

Do For Others and Create Happiness – A good motto in life is to do unto others what you would like done unto you.

Connect With Happiness, Others, The Great Outdoors & Your Spirituality This very real desire has many far reaching connotations to create happiness.

In trying to practice this motto one would be more aware on one’s own actions and how it affects others.

Helping Others – In realizing no man is an island; people acknowledge the fact that…

in order to have harmony other people’s feelings and thoughts must be considered.

This will foster better ties between individual and as a group which in turn will create a harmonious and conducive environment.

 

“Daily trying to be more aware of other people’s feeling also help an individual to be more sensitive to others and thus be less selfish.

 

This is a good attribute to develop as people generally like being around those who are thoughtful and accommodating.

Always extending a helping hand is also another trait that is rather endearing.

More often than not, people who are helpful will always be popular and an asset to have around.

 

 

There is also a sense of fulfillment when the hand to help is extended.

By doing this it also inculcates the fact that a lot of people will be more than willing to help the individual if the need arises.

Showing a positive side is always a good thing as nobody wants to be unpleasant to someone who is polite, gentle, and giving.

These virtues if practiced often enough will eventually reflect back unto the individual and thus cause other to do likewise.

Another popular saying is what goes around comes around is also similar in virtue to the above popular notion.

When the example is set to do good those around will learn from this example and try to emulate the wonderful virtue.

Thus more people will be more considerate and kind and the world will be a better place indeed.

 

Connect With Nature

Outdoors – Being able to connect with nature has many wonderful benefits both for the good of one’s mental health and physical health.

Create Happiness: Being able to connect with nature has many wonderful benefitsNature is one of God’s free gifts to human kind and learning to appreciate it should be everyone’s priority.

However sadly this is not so, as everyone is busy rushing around trying to keep their lives in order.

 

Communing with nature, will allow a person to slow down and just enjoy what is there for free.

It only requires the individual stop and “soak” it all in.

 

Spending more time outdoors is one way to connect with nature.

Playing or just walking in the park is a healthy way to relax and enjoy each others company…

or to just be alone with the beauty offered by nature.

When one is able to consciously connect with nature there will be a significant change in both body and mind.

 

These changes that happen are positive in nature and very beneficial to an individual.

Taking the time to really relax and focus on just the pleasure of nature and some quiet time…

will allow the body to recharge and yet achieve a certain level of calmness which is gotten from being connected to nature.

 

“All age groups should be taught to stop and connect with nature as often as possible.

 

Create Happiness: For kids playing outdoors, taking a nature walk

For kids playing outdoors, taking a nature walk or even working in an environment…

where they are exposed to animals will help build so many positive attributes in them.

 

When it comes to teens it may not be as simple.

To expect them to spend time with nature can be quite a challenge.

However encouraging them to take up an outdoor sport, engaging in seasonal projects that require the outdoor experience…

or simply learning about the different naturally garnered foods, are just a few ways to entice them to be more connected to nature.

Connect – Setting aside time everyday to connect with one’s spirituality can in most instances be easier said than done.

Create Happiness: Connecting spiritually has many benefits both mental and physical.For most people the time set aside to do this may be perceived as wasted and thus the reluctance to do so…

ends up being detrimental not only to the individual but to all around.

Connecting spiritually has many benefits both mental and physical.

 

There are several ways an individual can connect with their own spirituality.

One of them is through voluntary services.

When one sets aside time to become a volunteer, one is actually learning to put another person’s needs before one’s self.

 

This teaches the individual to be more giving and less selfish.

Making a conscious effort to let go of all the troubles and cares and simply focus on the potential calmness and serenity…

Forgiveness allows an individual to work through the hurts and bitterness experienced, and to let go of all the negative elements to creating happiness.

In embracing the act of forgiveness and moving on the body and mind can then start to experience the peace,  hope and joy that is the byproduct of forgiveness.

Forgive – The physical implications are vast and serious when it comes to harboring unforgiveness.

There are actual scientific researches that conclusively agree that the body’s chemical make up…

is disturbed dramatically when there is resentment and unforgiveness in the individual.

This disturbance that causes the imbalance will then transcend into either serious or mild unhealthy medical conditions.

Some of these conditions can escalate to further seriousness if the unforgiveness goes unchecked.

Becoming a Healthy Happy You – Day in day out we keep ourselves absorbed with those things that matter the most to us.

A lot of times, it might be just to survive and make a living.

In doing so we from time to time disregard or forget about the extra matters that are necessary to balance our lives.

They’re even more crucial to provide real meaning to our world.

You have to pay attention to your health.

Exercise is where it’s at, along with a low-fat, high-fiber diet and a wish to move toward good health.

Naturally you’ll likewise need to cut back on those awful habits:

like smoking,
drinking excessively,
or drug use,

Exercise is time consuming and hard, at times it could even be downright terrible!

Have you ever heard of the truism “jokes are half meant” If you have, do you believe in it?

Laugh Off Excess Weight and Body FatsIf you have not, then now, you have to read of it and maybe if you read on,

you’d be able to think of a joke of your own which could be half or full-meant.

 

I gathered some of the most popular jokes on health and fitness over the Internet and after laughing about them,

I thought maybe I could tell something that would prove that these jokes were born out,

of the sometimes painful and bitter realities of life.

It would really be nice to have a slim and really fit body but not everybody is blessed with such.

 

 

There are some people, no matter how much food they take, including calories, fats and all,

who never gain weight or grow fat.

But to those who are blessed with tons of excesses in fats and weight,

trimming down is one of the most difficult tasks in the world.

Especially if “exercise” and “dieting” are alien terms for them,

this humorous analysis of how the human body was arranged is just right:

 

I don’t exercise at all.

If God had wanted me to touch my toes He would have put them up higher on my body.

Sometimes, in the lowest point of your weight-loss campaign wherein only your weight doesn’t go down and the rest,

most especially your ego, has dropped down beyond the base, you find ways to console your ultra-bruised and dying ego.

 

And one is to consider that every shape is accepted in the society:

I’m in shape. Round is a shape.

And then there’s the matter of aging.

 

To some, the question is: why change the course of time?

A person’s age adds up and along with the increase of the age is the gradual decline of the body.

It is just a normal process.

Why put pressure on yourself and your failing body?

 

Age, time and fats are ganging up on you, three to one:

The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight because by then…

your body and your fat have become such inseparably good friends.

To choose whether to follow what you think or what you feel is another difficult task.

It is an honorable and praiseworthy thought of working to get into shape.

 

But, what would you do if the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak?

Every time I get the urge to exercise, I lie down till the feeling passes.

And then there are some people whose form of exercise is sharpening their wits.

 

They could utter one-liner wisecracks that could make it to the funniest sitcom on TV:

The only exercise you get is jumping to conclusions.

And who said that only the adults are having a hard time being friendly with exercising?

Take a trip to a school PE schedule and you might be surprised to hear some outrageous quips coming from the tots that you think are advocates of physical fitness:

 

My gym teacher told me to touch my toes. I said, “I don’t have that kind of relationship with my feet. Can I just wave?”

Excuses are the most popular forms of escape from the campaign towards getting fit and healthy.

 

Here are some excuses that you may have sheepishly used once, twice or maybe more than thrice:

  • But it was my birthday, so I had to eat the whole cake.
  • I had to get the bitter taste out of my mouth from eating the so-called dish, so I had an ice cream.
  • If you eat something and no one sees you eat it, it has no calories.
  • If you drink a diet soda with a candy bar, the diet soda cancels out the calories in the candy bar.
  • If you fatten up everyone else around you, then you look thinner.
  • Only eat things that have been broken into pieces; that way, all the calories fall out.
  • Chocolate is a vegetable. How, you ask? Chocolate is derived from cacao beans. Bean = vegetable. Sugar is derived from either sugar CANE or sugar BEETS. Both are plants, which places them in the vegetable category. Thus, chocolate is a vegetable.

 

And there’s just the hardheaded approach, the I-really-don’t-care-whether-I’m-fat-or-slim attitude that you may pronounce as a hopeless case.

It’s actually very easy to tell, once you hear this line, it’s it:

I’m not into working out. My philosophy is no pain, no pain.

 

Getting fit and staying healthy is not a laughable matter – or is it?

One thing sure is that it isn’t an easy task.

It involves determination, hard work and some light moments on the side.

After all, laughing – for a long period – can help shake those excess fats off.

And even the doctors agree it’s the world’s best medicine.
